Who were there?
Annelies den Besten, my dear friend and fresh paintress, two of her former Artschool students and a lot more very nice people.
When was it, again? 29 th October 2012 or a few days earlier, on a Sunday.
I took my son Luuk with me. Before the Art thing we visited the Otium  and built a sculpture with concrete blocks and an 'AntsHouse' with found timber at the Otium. Luuk and me enjoy ourselves very much being there in the East of Groningen.

2013 will be the year of Art for Mobile Gardens / GreenOpen Lab, Groningen, NL
A Golden Future For Chickens lay ahead of us.

The roof of the growing GreenOpenLab doesn't have an image, no icon, no symbol, no life, no rainwatercollector, no organism to produce golden eggs. The place has a history : the place where the GreenOpenLab is positioned used to be the place for former citizens of Groningen to burry their golden coins. And for others, archeologists, to find. The Good Guy, following Sergio Leone and his story in the film The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.


I combined my Plofchicken idea with the roof of the GreenOpenLab and with the history of the place and this imagination ( I still have to figure out which graphic designer produced this image, to be contiunued):

Dit bericht had ik vorige week al willen plaatsen!
Helemaal vergeten. Sorry, Iris. Ik heb je werk gezien in het Groninger Museum. WOW. Ik zou zo een eco fashionista kunnen worden. Jammer genoeg kon ik niets in mijn binnenzak meesmokkelen vanaf het eiland.

 

aan de keukentafel met kunsthuis SYB

Sweet memories. Naar aanleiding van 11 september 2001 in NY maakt ik een ruimtelijke installatie in kunsthuis SYB. HIDING PLACES. Vlak voor de kerst. Erg beladen. Nu ruikt het er naar verse koffie en warme broodjes. Bijna een politieke tafel. Voor wie graag in de keuken zaken bespreekt.

Ik zie een trend in de kunst. De keukentafel. Ik zal u binnenkort verrassen met mijn keukentafel?

Rubens revisited

Schilderij, gezien in de Hermitage, Amsterdam Verreweg het meest indrukwekkende schilderij gezien de ruimtelijkheid, gebruik van veel verschillende perspectieven, gemaakt in cooperatie (drie verschillende kunstenaars), detail en kleurgebruik.
Als je het schilderij langer bekijkt ga je de vogels echt horen zingen.

Kunsten '92 is een lobbyclub. Jet de Ranitz is de voorzitter. Ze is ook voorzitter van het college van bestuur van AHK ( Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten) Haar quotes: 'De hele kunstsector behoort to de creatieve industrie', 'de VVD was jarenlang met de PvdA een bondgenoot van de Kunst', 'liever geen uitzonderingspositie voor de kunstwereld'.
Heldere taal!
En nu gaan 'bouwen' Halbe Zijlstra: 'de kunstwereld is een van de stuwers van van maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen',
En nu gaan communiceren, instellingen: 'distributeer kunst op een eigentijdse manier'.
